How much does it cost to rent a bike in Central Park?
Adult bikes start at $12 an hour booked online, and child seats and accessories from $9. See every price.
How long does it take to ride around Central Park?
We typically recommend 2 to 3 hours to make your way around the park. However if you'd like to go at a more leisurely pace, we would recommend 5 hours.
How long does it take to walk around Central Park?
Walking around the park can take up to 6 hours depending on how many flowers you stop to smell. Ask us about our guided walking tours!
Can I ride a bike/e-scooter outside of Central Park?
Yes, you can. However, if an accident happened, we would not be able to assist you outside of the park. We can provide you any assistance only on the territory of Central Park.
Does the insurance cover areas outside of Central Park?
No. The insurance covers the inside of Central Park only.
What should I do if an accident happened?
Please, call us immediately. You should be ready to inform us of your exact location. We will come and help you with your vehicle.
Do you provide a helmet, a chain lock and a map of the park?
Helmets, bicycle locks and maps of Central Park are provided free of charge upon request.
It is necessary to wear a bicycle helmet for anyone under the age of 14
What is the minimum age for an e-scooter/e-bike driver?
There is a 16-year age requirement to ride electric vehicles.
Do I need to select time when I am going to pick up my bike?
No, there is no need to specify a time. You have an opportunity to pick up the bike any time during your rental day.
Are scooters available?
Yes! E-scooter rentals start at $27 an hour booked online. Please note that parents will need to sign a waiver for their children to participate.
Reserve a hand cycle?
Yes, please call us at 212-541-8759 to make a reservation for hand cycles even if you booked online.
Do I have to Drop Off at the same location?
Yes, but for a $5 fee you can return to a different location. However, this fee is waived for both hand cycles and electric hand cycles.
How Long Is The Rental?
The usual bike rental hours are 8AM-8PM. If the customer would like to rent for more than one day, call us at 212-541-8759 or come to the store to talk to our customer service who can arrange an extended rental for you.
Does Electric hand cycle require a wheelchair?
The attachable electric hand cycle comes with its own wheelchair, but if you prefer your own, we can attach this to your wheelchair.
Limitation Of Hand Cycle And Electric Hand Cycle?
There are no limits on where you can ride the hand or e-hand cycles but we do suggest avoiding the upper part of Central Park as there are many hills and which make riding the hand cycles a bit more difficult.
